Is Minecraft down right now?
Check the live status on the home page — we check Minecraft's official services every minute.
What services do you check?
We monitor five official endpoints: the authentication server, session server, Minecraft API, textures/skins service and minecraft.net.
How do you check if Minecraft is down?
Every minute we send a reachability check to each service endpoint. We wait for two checks in a row before marking an outage.
Can I check a specific Minecraft server?
Yes — head to the Check a server page and type any Java server's address.
It says down but I can play — or the other way round?
Some services can be down without affecting gameplay immediately. Use the server checker to test a specific server.
Is the status the same for everyone?
Yes — the verdict is a live, global check, so everyone sees the same answer at the same time.
